It happens, and we have learned it at our own expense too: when you fall in love with a project you risk moving at a different speed from the client’s, or beyond their budget. That is why every phase is decided together, on the results of the one before.

When software goes into production it is normal for something to need redoing, and we are there to do it: defects we fix at our own cost, under the legal warranty. For ongoing maintenance there is a separate, paid agreement; if you need guaranteed response times we write them into it, even while the software is under warranty.
