VPS/VDC subscription management: a purchasing platform
The problemEvery renewal, every new instance and every cancellation went through a person.
VPS Green was selling Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Virtual Data Centers (VDC), and every renewal, every size change and every cancellation went through its technical support. Without a panel, customers could not manage their machines on their own.
We built four pieces that work together: a public site, a shop, an admin panel and the integration between the management systems already in use.
What a customer does on their own
They buy their VPS and manage it from the control panel: the subscription, the renewals, and the machine itself, from creation to update to removal, with the provisioning that follows. Expiry warnings and payment reminders go out on their own.
The systems behind it
The panel talks to Navision for administration, to Plesk for provisioning and to the Lenovo ThinkAgile infrastructure. They were three systems that already existed, and the work was keeping them aligned while a customer buys and cancels.
VoIP Software: Complete Traffic Management
Voice traffic pulled out by hand into an Excel sheet, with customers going from 400 to 2,000.
Electronic invoice management: all in one panel
No customer of the service could see the state of their own invoices, so every question became a support ticket.
