On this page
This site uses one cookie of its own, which remembers your choice, and the cookies of three measurement services, which only load if you say yes.
Before you choose, nothing is loaded: no Google, Meta or Microsoft script, no measurement cookie. That is not a promise, it is verifiable: open your browser’s developer tools, Network tab, and reload the page. Closing the banner with the X counts as a refusal.

What Clarity records
Clarity records how a page is used: mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, which we review as a click map or as a recording of the visit. We use it to understand which buttons are used and where a page is abandoned. What you type into forms is masked: it cannot be read in the recording. How Microsoft handles this data is set out in its privacy statement.
Besides the two cookies in the table, Microsoft may write one of its own on
its own domain (CLID, on clarity.ms), which it uses to recognise the same
browser across sites that use Clarity.
Clarity is linked to our Google Analytics account, so we see the data from both tools in one place. The link runs between the two accounts and writes no further cookies in your browser.
Google signals
Google Signals is on. If you accept, and you are signed in to a Google account with ad personalisation turned on, Google links the visit to that account. We receive, in aggregate form only, the age, gender and interests of the people who read the site, and we can use those groups for campaigns on Google. We do not see who you are.
To do this your browser contacts two Google advertising domains,
stats.g.doubleclick.net and www.google.it (or www.google.com), where
Google can read its own cookies. You avoid it by declining here, or by turning
off ad personalisation in your Google account.
What we switched off on purpose
Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google.
Clarity is denied advertising consent (ad_Storage: denied): we use it
to read how pages are used, not for Microsoft advertising, and your browser
does not contact Bing’s advertising domains.
We do not use Google Tag Manager. The Google Analytics script is downloaded from www.googletagmanager.com, but it loads only Google Analytics. The only third-party scripts are the three described above, and they are part of the site’s code.
Changing your mind
Review your choice: the banner comes back and you can accept or refuse again.
If you refuse after having accepted, the _ga, _fbp, _clck and _clsk
cookies are deleted, not merely ignored.
What the server receives anyway
Like every web server, the one hosting this site receives the IP address, the page requested and the browser type with every request: they are needed to deliver the page, they are not kept in a log of visits, they are not cookies and they are not used to recognise a person between one visit and the next.
Everything else
How personal data is handled is described in the privacy policy. The data controller is dotenv S.R.L., via L.V. Beethoven 15/C, 44124 Ferrara, Italy, VAT 02062960386, info@dotenv.it. To exercise your rights you can write to the Data Protection Officer: massimo.dimenna@ingpec.eu.
